I am having this problem on a Win7 圆4 dll was a part of Lavasoft Ad-Aware Antivirus or related product of Lavasoft LTD( ) Any thought on troubleshooting will be appreciated. I have Internet access but no application can access the Internet. Icon in my task bar was showing I have Internet access. When I type a web address and hit Enter it does nothing but clear the address bar.
I delete it in same process.īut next time I restart my computer, open Firefox and try to browse a website, but it does not work. I also notice another dll in C:\\Windows\system32\ with name lavasofttcpservice64.dll (cann't remember the name exactly).
Then I restart the program and remove the dll from the computer. I try to rename it and it successfully renamed into new name. I try to remove it but system prevents me as other programs are using it. This dll seems suspicious to me because I have removed a program from the same company few days ago and it is loaded in almost every program running in my system. I find a dll named lavasofttcpservice.dll loaded into firefox which is located in C:\\Windows\SysWOW64\ directory. Today I notice few ads at the beginning of my Google search result. I have never installed anything from lavasoft. Few days ago I noticed a new software in my computer named "lavasoft webcompanion".
